my mom always makes fun of me for this
i don't like christmas and i hate being forced to celebrate it with people who don't care about me. I just want to celebrate thanksgiving and new years.

@tropican it's not so much that you have to force yourself to do stuff or pretend you are excited, but rather that you have to deal with your family for a week straight

yeah you're right. And i'm also tired of the constant "CHRISTMAS IS COMING" chants that people in my area have been shouting since august (the stores are responsible for this, not the people)

I am an atheist so I don't celebrate Christmas because I don't believe that Jesus was some divine creature that died for everyone's sins (it's more like a Jewish sacrifice).

I'm not atheist or religious. But if you read the bible, Jesus basically said it isn't about the worship, it's about love. So if you're celebrating the love and good deeds then it's alright.
