I don't even like the show or the fandom, but I do know that the real reason is because of what some people in the fandom do. People outside the fandom see them as a stereotype and that's not right. Don't judge all of us by those few idiots.

People say "MLP is for little girls" when it's really not.
They say "MLP is stupid" when it's really not.
And they say "MLP is for bronies" when it's really not.
Those are the stereotypes and they're not right either.

People see the fandom as a bunch of 6-year-olds, but there are actually some mature fans out there. People shouldn't judge them because of their age, but rather because of their maturity.
