Not true. There is no way to stop people from being jerks because they will always find someone else to be mean to. But it is possible for one person to stop being a jerk.

Well, if there's an opportunity to be nice then the jerk can stop being a jerk.
If someone is going through a hard time or something, it's not very nice to say "WELL TOO BAD" or something like that.

I'm not saying they'll be able to completely stop being jerks but if they are given a chance to be nicer, they might take it.
The whole point of this thread was to make people see that it's better to be nice than mean and how we all should be nicer to each other.
