My old one had Windows XP Home Edition, Intel Core2 Duo 3.00 GHz processor, and 2 GB of RAM.
Now I have a new computer that is equipped with Windows 7 Home Premium, Intel® Core™ i5-2410M Processor (2.30 GHz), and 4 GB of RAM.

It's fast. I can play games like CS:GO without lagg.

I used to have a Dell laptop, it was slow and it kept breaking down.

My old computer got really slow as time went on. The processor wasn't powerful enough for the OS so I couldn't play games.

I guess that makes sense. I'll probably be getting more RAM soon because this computer is already running out of space. And I can't upgrade my graphics card because it doesn't support it. (I'm not sure about this, but if I do, I will lose warranty).

You don't need a better processor for gaming, you need a better graphics card. You also have to keep in mind that computers can last longer than 4 years.

It was only a Dell laptop with Windows 7 Home Edition. I guess it was good for its time. But it had issues like the touchpad and the screen being unresponsive at times.

I just got it in July. It's only been 4 months.
