I'd have to give up something important. Like video games or something. I wouldn't mind giving up video games for this, but it would be a lot harder for me.

But I have to think about how this will affect the future. If I get all the way through college and then want to be with this person, I won't be able to if he's not into it. It's just not worth it.

You're assuming I'll be in love with her forever. That is impossible, I will grow out of it eventually. But I don't think I would ever forget that I was in love with her at some point in my life.

I don't want to be in love with her forever. It's just something that would happen if it happened. I can't see myself being with one girl for the rest of my life. I'll probably be married more than once. I'd want to make sure she was the best person to marry before I did.
