What would it be?
I'd have to say I'd remove all of the greed that humans have, and also all of the ignorance.
We have a tendency to turn the things we do not understand into evil, and in doing so create conflicts. We also have a tendency to covet anything and everything around us, which leads to crime, conflict, and war.
I think if we were able to put aside our differences and work together to bring an end to these evils we could live in a much better world.

No, it wouldn't.
Plenty of energy sources exist. We can create our own energy and live off of that.
Also, the only reason why we use the sun is because we're too lazy to find another solution.

Well, we currently don't have any other means of creating energy. We're still trying to invent better forms of energy, but we haven't found one yet.

There's plenty of energy sources that exist, we just don't know how to harness them yet.
For example, if we could tap into the power of an atomic nucleus (which is already done), we would be set forever.
However, this requires nuclear fission, which has downsides.
So, why not try and find alternative energy sources?
