I am 10 years old.
My name is daniel
My birthday is the 7th of October
And today was my last day in earth
I woke up this morning and I ate my breakfast with my family, then i went to school. it was a normal day but a bit cold
At lunch time we had our lunch and we were playing soccer when one of my friends came running saying "Daniel its you're dad!"
"Where??" I asked
"He's gone"
"What do you mean?"
"I saw him walking out of the house and he was talking on his phone."
I rushed home to see my dad leaving the house.
I ran into my house and searched for my mom. she wasn't home.
I quickly checked the kitchen and the living room. I didn't find her anywhere in the house.
I called my parents mobile phone but there was no answer. I then searched the yard but he wasn't there either.
Then I noticed my sister crying by her bed.
I rushed over to her and hugged her.
"Hey what's wrong" I said
"My mom isn't here anymore"
"Why? where is she?"
"She left me"
"left you? why would she leave you?"
"I don't know"
I took her hands and led her upstairs to the bathroom and turned on the shower.
She then said that she needs to go to the bathroom.
I sat down on the floor and waited for her to finish.
I then heard a knock at the door.
I walked over to the door and opened it.
I saw my neighbor standing there with a sad face.
He told me that he had just seen my parents getting shot by 2 men, they ran away before he could get their numberplates.
He went on to say that my father was hit on his arm but my mother had been shot right between her eyes.
I tried calling my dad again but still no answer.
I left my sister alone to use the toilet and walked back downstairs and noticed the car was gone.
I asked my sister "What happened?"
