I just found out my girlfriend is pregnant. She's still in high school and I'm graduating soon, but what should I do?

Well, she got on birth control without telling me and we were fooling around and I guess it was the wrong time.

Do you have any idea who the father is?
If it isn't you, then you don't have to worry about being a father.

If you're still going to be in school when your child is born, you're going to need to spend more money on gas and things like that. Also, depending on how far you are into your high school education, you might have to quit early. If you want to be a good parent, you'll need to stop drinking, smoking, and do drugs.

Yeah, we already talked about the baby. I quit drinking for the most part, but I smoke and do drugs. I'll talk with my parents about this.

If you want to be a responsible parent, you should quit doing everything I just mentioned. If you start smoking cigarettes and doing drugs around the time that you have a kid, they're going to copy you. Also, you're going to get sick more often than usual if you keep doing drugs and smoking.

I won't let my child become an addict. But I will continue to drink, do weed, etc.

If you really care about your child, you'd quit doing all those things. If you don't quit, you can expect bad consequences to occur in your life.

If you really cared about me, you wouldn't try to force me to do what you say. I'm not giving up on my vices for this baby.

If you don't give up your vices, you'll regret it in the future. You're going to be responsible for that child and you need to raise him/her properly. You can't smoke, drink, or do drugs when you have a kid to take care of. You'll get arrested and lose custody.

If I ever get caught doing any of this while I have a child, they will put me in prison.

If you're caught doing drugs, they'll make you pay a fine and they'll order you to go to rehab. If you keep doing drugs after the fine and rehab, you'll get arrested. If you're caught drinking, they'll make you pay a fine, get you an attorney, and then you'll get charged with a DUI.
