what do you guys think
is it really that bad to be overweight? or should i just say "you're fine" and be done with it.

if she feels bad about herself, doesn't she have the incentive to lose weight?
i mean, obviously no one wants to look like they've got a disease so why would they want to keep that body?

the only people who are successful with losing weight are those who have no self control over food

no it's not that simple
you're not going to be successful by telling her that
there needs to be more motivation than just being told "your fat"
they need a reason as to why they should lose weight
and even then that's not really helpful
the most effective way to motivate someone is through peer pressure and social humiliation
