I saw the Lego Batman Movie and it was pretty good. The Lego Batman Movie is a comedy/action film directed by Chris McKay and written by Seth Grahame-Smith and David F. Snyder. Produced by Dan Lin and Roy Lee, the film stars Will Arnett as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Michael Cera as Robin/Dick Grayson, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl/Barbara Gordon, Zach Galifianakis as Joker/Jared Leto, Mariah Carey as Harley Quinn/Dr. Harleen Quinzel, Jason Mantzoukas as King Kong/Kong, and Kevin Smith as the mayor of Gotham City/Mayor Richard Jones.
The movie centers around Batman's attempt to stop Joker from destroying Gotham City with a weapon that can destroy the entire city in one go. During his adventure, he meets a bunch of other superheroes such as Superman (who appears in cameos in the film), Wonder Woman, Flash, and more. It is very funny and entertaining; however, I was left feeling bad for the characters after watching the movie. Because all the characters were animated Legos, they are able to do things that real humans could not possibly do without dying, such as jumping off tall buildings and flying through space. In addition, most of the characters have an extreme personality disorder, such as Joker's evil and psychotic behavior or Robin's hyperactive tendencies. Despite this, the movie is still quite enjoyable.
