I had a 3D printer in my old school.
It's quite good, but there are a lot of problems with it:
- The quality of the printing was just... bad (probably because I was using 2.5mm PLA and not 1.75mm)
- It took 10 minutes per layer to print something (and it doesn't use ABS like in those Makerbot things, it uses PLA)

I don't know.
I'm not sure how they got one, but it was probably an expensive one.
