What would it be?
Personally, I would make the government care more about the people. Right now, the government is just a group of rich, powerful men who only look out for themselves and their friends. They don't care if your family is starving or that there are no jobs for you. Their own families are all set, so they couldn't care less.

I agree with you. We need to change the way we teach the next generation. I heard that the U.S. is getting less and less competitive in the global education rankings. Maybe if we were actually doing things in school instead of learning everything in textbook form, we'd have more intelligent students in the future?

If I could change something about my country it would be the fact that I am still living in it.

@1999
I'm not sure what you mean by that, but I think I understand.
I hate being in my state, I wish I was somewhere else. That's why I plan on moving out as soon as I can. When I do move out though, it'll be to either a major city (such as New York or Los Angeles) or a smaller place in a country which has a very good economy and a great education system.

Nope you don't.
The only reason I stay is because I live in an area where I have access to an array of jobs, my parents are both uneducated so I cant really go anywhere, and I have no money or means to travel, etc etc etc.
I also like being close to home.
I would love to live and work abroad and I may one day but not yet..
