*Crying*
This is a new account. I'm not sure what it's for yet, or if it'll even be needed.
I have about an hour until work starts (at the least), so I'm on here for now to see how people are liking E3 so far. There's lots of talk in other places, but I'm curious to hear your thoughts.
Also, there are some things that we've done this year that you may have noticed but never saw much mention of during livestreams. I'll touch on a few of those.
To start with, I did try to get another stream on Saturday night, but I didn't find any developers that were willing to come out that late. In hindsight, they could have just waited until Sunday and done it then.
I wanted to go over some things on Sunday. We weren't able to get everything done before the last live stream, but I figured I'd have time to talk about more stuff during the day on Sunday. Unfortunately, there was a huge amount of discussion throughout the day on twitter and on other sites that basically kept me too busy to do anything else, because I had to keep track of all of it. I apologize for not getting more done on Sunday.
Some additional stuff:
We are doing some things differently this year. For example, in years past, some of the trailers were only played once. This year, most of the trailers were shown at least twice so people who missed them could watch later.
The fact is that these streams are not really our thing. They're for you guys, and we want to make them fun for everyone. But we also don't want to do a bad job of what the games are supposed to be about, which is playing them. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas for better ways we can run these streams (or if people just have a lot of things to say), feel free to post them here or on twitter.
Finally, I will try to make sure that we have one more stream before E3 finishes up on Tuesday.
