Why do people bother making up an account with a name that they think is funny? I can understand if you were to make one for a friend or something but seriously, what's the point?

Why do they have fun doing it? It seems like a pointless thing to waste time on. You could spend your life trying to think of a clever username and it wouldn't matter in the end because you'd be dead.

No, I'm not 5. But what's the point of wasting so much time on it? Even if you do make up a funny username it's still pointless. If you want to spend your entire life trying to come up with a username then go ahead but why waste so much effort on such a trivial thing?
