Once upon a time in the land of Goshen, there was a little boy named John. He lived with his parents, but his dad had to go away on a business trip, so he only had his mom at home with him.
Now, John had a pet dog named Spot. Spot was a very nice dog, but John didn't love him as much as he did his own mother.
One day, John woke up feeling very hungry, but his mom wasn't home yet, so he went into the kitchen and ate a few pieces of bread.
After breakfast, he decided to take Spot out for a walk.
John walked down the road and saw a truck coming towards him. He pushed Spot out of the way and the truck smashed right into him.
John died, and Spot ran back into the house and barked and barked until the mother came home.
