In my opinion, it's a bad attempt at being funny. People who think they are funny make me mad, and that's what happened last night.
I was watching my favorite show on TV, and some guy said something that made me laugh. Then after the commercial break, this other guy tried to act like he said something funny. But he wasn't. And it annoyed the hell out of me. The guy was laughing at his own joke because he thought it was funny, but then nobody else laughed. He thought everyone else liked him because he thought his joke was funny, but it just wasn't. Everyone in my house started getting annoyed by him saying how stupid the guy was.
We were all sitting there trying not to laugh or cry. Then finally he got the message that he wasn't funny, so he shut up for good. I was glad he did, because he kept interrupting the show I was watching.
But it just happens sometimes. People think they're funny but really aren't.

It was only a joke. Who cares if you get into a fight with someone for telling a joke? Everyone does stupid stuff sometimes. I mean, you're the one who said you were annoyed by this guy telling jokes, so why are you the one who can't just punch him?

Oh yeah, and also: You don't have to be funny to make jokes. Sometimes people think it's funny when someone says something that is true. But other times, people act like they're being funny when they aren't.

It's not a serious problem. It's just something I don't like. Like when people call me stupid. Or when people say things that aren't true, but they're just saying them anyway because they think they're funny. Things like that get on my nerves. But the person who tried to act funny was just plain annoying. And annoying is a bad thing.
