Illuminati is a word meaning 'enlightened'.
The illuminati is not a secret organisation, it is just a group of people who try to promote higher consciousness through philosophy and science, while trying to bring light (enlightenment) into society.
It isn't a secret group with devil worshippers or anything like that.
