I did one time, but it was the weirdest dream ever.

i used to have dreams that would be so realistic i'd wake up and feel like i actually was dreaming
like you'd fall asleep watching tv or something and wake up still on the couch

The first time I had a dream like this, I woke up in my bed. Then I realized that I hadn't gone to sleep yet. Then I woke up in my bed again.

It wasn't. I just wanted to see if I could wake myself up while I was dreaming. But then I started thinking about stuff like "what if the person wakes me up" and I ended up getting scared and running around my house with my mom chasing me.

Yeah. My dad caught me and then we went downstairs because he thought I might have hurt myself or something. But then it all stopped when I woke up for real. That was the worst part of it.

I'm pretty sure I actually was running through my house. I remember running through every room in my house, even ones that I know don't exist anymore. And I also remember going outside and running around.

That's a good question. I can't say for sure that I knew that I was dreaming because everything felt so realistic. The only thing that was weird was my mom chasing me, but I figured she would try to wake me up since I was dreaming about her chasing me. If anything, I probably knew that I was dreaming because it was too realistic to be real.

Yeah. That's what I would do. But then there's the possibility that you could actually be awake and see yourself having a dream.

I think that the easiest way is to just wake yourself up when you realize that you're dreaming.

You can't just go with the flow when you're awake while dreaming.

Yeah. It feels like you're in a dream, but you can control it. But it's a lot more realistic and normal than lucid dreams are.
