The new body is a complete and utter failure.
It's terrible, it ruins the game.
If you haven't already noticed, the game now looks more like a social networking site than a game. This is thanks to ROBLOX's new bodies and character customization system.
I'm sorry, but I don't see why we need such an awful system. The original avatars were simple, and looked good with each other. You could tell people apart by the color of their torso, which was the only part that changed color. And your arms and legs moved when you moved, so it felt like you were really in a virtual world, and not just playing an online game.
Now, ROBLOX's avatars look like a bunch of ugly, deformed, bloated things with a weird skin texture. They're horrible, and I hope they change the system soon.
There are many other problems with this update as well, like the fact that you can no longer change how your character moves. You can still change your walk speed (which is a bad thing), but there's no way to customize how fast your arms or legs move. If you want to play slow, you're stuck with a stupid little wobbling motion.
You can't even change your own avatar anymore! Instead, you have to go into some incredibly messy settings menu where you can't see what you're changing at all. It's completely unintuitive, and you have to go through 6 different tabs just to do something as simple as change your arm color.
The fact that you can now use decals on your body makes it even worse. The new bodies are ugly enough as it is, and putting decals on them is just ridiculous. I'm sorry, but if I wanted to wear a decal, I would have bought a t-shirt, not changed my avatar!
ROBLOX has really let me down here. I hope they realize what a huge mistake they've made and fix it soon.
