i did that for my cat once before
she fell asleep in the sun on top of the car, and when she woke up she tried to run around on the roof lol

you can also try throwing out something heavy or loud to frighten it off. if it has enough energy it could run away to another spot, but if it doesn't then it'll get spooked and either fall or jump. i'd recommend using something like a big rock that you can throw out without hurting yourself with. or maybe you could try turning on some music or banging on the wall really loud to scare it off
