Halloween is a day where kids come to your door and ask for candy.
They have costumes on and scare people by saying "TRICK OR TREAT!"
The history of Halloween is that it started when pagans celebrated Samhain (Saw-n). When the Romans invaded Britain, they saw the pagans celebrating. Since they were Roman Catholics they thought of doing the same. So they took part in the celebration. Then they called it All Hallows Eve because they're all celebrating together.

the real history is that halloween was originally a christian holiday made up by the catholic church
it eventually got more of a pagan influence and became some sort of half assed mix of christian and pagan stuff

I don't celebrate Halloween, because I was raised Christian.
