Because it's annoying and people don't really need to leave ROBLOX.
If they are going somewhere else, I guess it's fine to post a little bit about what is happening, but I'd rather them just post that on Twitter or something like that. It's a waste of space, because they aren't gone for very long. You can always go back to your thread when you get back. Why not just let people who want to know, know? There are no benefits to posting those types of messages.
