if it's not a troll, then why do you have to keep reminding people you're not one?

You could be the most offensive person ever and still say that, so no.

If I didn't get what you were trying to say, why would I bother asking you to explain it further?

I know what trolling is.
If you're not a troll, then don't bother telling people.

Trolling isn't necessarily being an idiot or offensive.
It's just messing with people.

You're talking about something completely different than what I'm talking about.
Your posts are getting on my nerves.
Stop posting.

It's not annoying.
And if you want to know the definition of trolling, google it.

People don't know your definition of trolling.
They have their own definition of it. And I don't care about your definition because that's not how it works.

If you think trolling is just being stupid or offensive, then why would you care if people said "I'm not a troll" if they did something like that?

The people who say "I'm not a troll" are the ones who are just being stupid or offensive and have no intention whatsoever to be funny.

@XxX
You're trying to use the definition of trolling in the way that you want me to take it as the real meaning, but the true meaning of trolling isn't what you're saying.
Trolling has its own definition. If it weren't for that, you wouldn't know how to make yourself seem different than them, since you wouldn't even know the difference between your idea of trolling and their idea of trolling.

That's not how it works.
They don't have any intentions to be funny.
You need to have an intention to be funny so people can laugh with you, not at you.
If someone thinks you're just being stupid or offensive, then you're a troll.

That was just the first thing I thought of.
If you really want to know what I'm talking about, try to think of something better.
I'll bet you can't.

@XxX
There is no "wrong meaning" for trolling.
If there were, that would make trolling subjective. And if it's subjective, then it wouldn't be called trolling.
If it's subjective, then we can all be trolling each other, and there wouldn't be a point in saying "I'm not a troll" because even if we are being funny, the other person may not agree with us.
