I'm tired of seeing these things in every post.
They are just distractions, and they don't add any value to your thread.
And please don't say "But what if you want to share a link?" then I will say, "Then just type out the URL."

well you need to make sure that it is not something that would be inappropriate for others. you cannot go around saying 'look at this cool picture' or something like that when in fact it isn't appropriate

but its a bit annoying having to think about what you're sharing, especially considering the way some people can use the internet. i'm sure i'd be fine with links being allowed, but some people could misuse the system. i wouldn't want to have to worry about that

There are ways of making sure that your links aren't inappropriate, and there should never be anything to worry about.
I personally don't mind links, I just don't want to see them on every single post.

i think i understand why you feel the way you do about links. it's because you've gotten used to a certain way of using the internet, and have grown accustomed to it. i haven't, so i view things in a different way. however, i agree that you shouldn't see links everywhere you go, and i also agree that there shouldn't be something to worry about. i just feel as though if links were allowed, the way that they are currently, that it would increase the number of times that you'll be worried about what you're seeing.

The thing is, links are only filtered by the censor when they look like a link. So you can still use them, but you can't use them in the wrong context.
For example, you can say "I went to a site called roblox.com", but not "I went to roblox.com".
It's pretty easy to follow this rule if you try.
