What should I do with my life, really?
I'm bored of school and am considering dropping out so I can study something that actually interests me.
I've looked into game design, but it seems that this would require me to get a university degree.

I'm not sure really.
I just want to make games. I think I could be good at it, so I don't really know what else I'd enjoy doing if that's the case.

you need to be good at math
it is an artform in itself
if your math sucks then you're never going to succeed in video game design
and there are no video game design degrees
you need to pick a major in college (and be smart about it), and video game design will come later on

you have to learn programming, learn how to draw well, and you gotta be super creative

I'm pretty good at math, actually.
My teachers always say that I'm one of their best students because of my skill with numbers. I've just never been very interested in math because I find the concept of it a bit dull.
As for drawing, I'm terrible at it. My mom always says "You can't be a video game designer if you're not good at drawing." but I don't see why it'd matter that much.

you still need to know how to draw, it's just a basic requirement to get into college
if you can't draw then there's no point in applying
it's like wanting to study law but you can't read
