I've been having trouble in school lately. My grades have been dropping because I was always sick and couldn't attend to classes, so my teachers decided to put me in an "intervention" class. It's a class where you get extra help, basically. So every morning before regular classes, I go to the intervention class with my group of 6 other kids who are also getting extra help.
Our teacher is very nice and everything, but she keeps making fun of my name. And she also keeps saying how I'm too stupid for my grade level.
But seriously, she really does make fun of my name and call me stupid. Like this one time she called us all by our names and when it came to mine she said "Jinglebells". She thought that my name was actually Jinglebells. But then when she found out my real name she started laughing and saying "Oh, look at that" and "How original". And then she just walked away without even telling me what she said.
This has been happening quite frequently now. She's constantly calling me stupid and making fun of my name. And she even told my parents about it today.
What should I do?

You can just tell your parents about it so they talk to the teacher.

You should get another teacher. I mean, just because one person said that she was a nice teacher doesn't mean that she is. There may be a lot more people who say the same thing your teacher does.

I talked with my parents about this. They said there isn't anything we can do, but we'll continue watching and trying to find out ways to stop it.
My mother told me that if the teacher really was making fun of my name and calling me stupid, that she would have done something about it by now.
So either I'm hallucinating or my parents are not believing me when I tell them about this.
Either way I don't like how my mother believes that I am being rude to the teacher and I don't like how the teacher keeps doing this to me. :(

Well, if you think that the teacher is really doing it then just ask your parents to talk to her. If you're wrong then you won't have any trouble, and if you're right then you'll get help. Just make sure that you tell your parents EVERYTHING that happened, even the little things.

i mean, you could ask other people who are in your class what the teacher does when you're not around
if the other students say the same thing then you can tell your parents again
