You all think it's corrupt, but I'm going to prove to you that the government is doing a good job.
1. It makes our lives safe and secure.
2. The government cares about us and has our best interest in mind
3. It's actually a democracy, meaning people get to vote
4. The government doesn't waste money
5. The government makes sure everyone gets a decent education, no matter where they are in the country
6. The government helps veterans
7. The government doesn't force us into wars
8. The government is very organized
9. The government is not corrupt
10. The government is not inefficient

What about the wars?
You said they don't force us into wars...
And yet we had Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.
The government has also failed to protect us in many ways

It's not my opinion, it's fact.
Wars are started for the benefit of our country, like Vietnam for example. We were protecting South Korea from the north and they needed our help so we went there, but it was still for our benefit. And the other two you mentioned are for the same reason as Vietnam.
As far as protecting goes, the government does a fine job of that, too. Not much bad happens nowadays unless it's terrorism, which the government deals with.

I didn't say I can see where the money goes. I said it's not wasted on unnecessary things, though. The government doesn't just go around wasting billions of dollars on things people don't need. They use that money for things that are needed and will benefit the citizens. Like schools, roads, police stations, etc.
