I told him not to show us this movie because it would be too scary and he just laughed in my face and said "You are 14 you will be able to handle it" So I decided to have fun with the movie and make jokes and stuff but then he got mad at me for making fun of it and he started yelling at me so I stood up for myself and started arguing with him and then he made me stay after class for like half an hour to write down an essay about how stupid I was for arguing with him

I think it is kind of unfair because everyone else in my class just watched the movie and didn't complain or argue or anything but I did and now he hates me for no reason.

I know that if I complained to my parents they would just make fun of me and call me a baby so I am trying not to let it bother me too much but it really does suck to have a teacher who hates you because of something dumb like this.

Well, I don't think that's a good idea. What if someone else in the class has a problem with a teacher, would they just be forced to suck it up and deal with it?

Yeah he did tell my parents and I was grounded for a week because of it but I think it is kind of unfair that I got punished for arguing with him about watching a movie when everyone else in the class loved the movie.

I know you can't stand him either. It sucks to have a teacher who hates you for no reason. He is just one of those teachers who thinks that everything is funny even if it isn't.

Yeah that would be nice if there was some sort of punishment for teachers like him. It's not fair that we have to suffer through a whole year of classes with a teacher who hates us just because they picked out two horror movies.
