I was watching the news and they said that one of the planes crashed into the Pentagon. But then when they showed a picture of it, it looked like an office building.

They switched cameras. They have all kinds of stuff in the pentagon, such as a large office space for CIA, NSA, DIA, etc. They also have a massive computer system.

They couldn't show it, because the people inside were still working on computers when it hit. The plane just turned into a huge fireball and it crashed through several floors before being stopped by the ground floor, which is built out of thick concrete.

I'll ask another question about 9/11. In one of the pictures of the crash, you could see a man running away with a backpack. What happened to him? Was he just running around and not thinking?

That was the guy who planted the bomb in the 2nd plane that hit the pentagon.
