It's getting very cold here, and I'm not sure if this is going to be a winter where everyone gets stuck inside (like the last two) or if it'll be just mildly unpleasant.
I also want to know what the weather's like in other countries because my parents are trying to decide between 2 places to go on vacation next summer.

It's like 25 degrees Celsius here in Australia. It's currently raining but it's not very cold.

i think it snowed last night?
anyway it's really cold and rainy here, i'm pretty sure it snowed yesterday (or the day before)

Okay so in Australia the weather's warm, and it's raining occasionally.
In North America the weather is cold. It's also very likely that it will be cold for the next few months.
In Europe the weather is very cold right now, but I think it'll start getting slightly warmer as time goes on.

Yeah, it rains quite a bit during winter.
Also, I'm not sure why you're talking about Europe when you mentioned North America earlier because they're two different continents.
North America consists of Canada, United States, Mexico, etc., whereas, Europe is mostly in the same continent as Russia.
