My internet is slow and I can't play my games on the internet (or roblox) until my dad gets home. He will probably turn it off for two hours while he's fixing something...
I need to get on roblox

I have a cable modem but its connected through a router. The cable modem is in the room upstairs and the router is in the room downstairs. I'm typing this post in the computer in the living room.

Well, I have seen those routers with the cord, but those are bad, but there are new routers that has NO cord. They are wireless.

I already have a wireless router but my dad needs to fix some wires or something in the house.
We don't have a wireless router in the living room because it costs more money than the one we have now.

Im not saying that you have no knowledge of technology, I am just saying that Wireless is the way to go. It's much faster.

Yeah, but my laptop is the older one with the old operating system. Plus, I'm not home all the time.
I have my own room upstairs where my computer is and when my parents are at work I get on roblox and play my games.
