The thing is, they're not just letting you go out there and buy a car yourself. You've got to convince them you'll take care of it before they let you buy it.
A) Go out and customize it
B) Be honest about what happened the last time you owned a vehicle and show them your record.
C) Show them some work and a model you made of an idea for a car.
