I'm a noob when it comes to Pokémon, and so far I just caught Bulbasaur. It's level 1, so I know I have my work cut out for me.

I also captured a Caterpie. Now I need to go back to Cerulean City, so I can trade my Caterpie for a Pikachu in Route 7, which is directly outside the city.

I went back to the Pokémon Center, and now I'm at Cerulean City once again. I'm going to trade my Oddish for a Spearow. But first, I have to talk to Professor Oak again.

So I just caught Geodude and traded him for Spearow. Now I'm back at Pallet Town again, so I can go on to Viridian Forest!

I went to Route 22 to get to Cerulean City, but a bunch of Spearow attacked me. So I just traded them for my Caterpie from earlier, then I ran away. Then I went on to Route 23, and battled Misty (she was just a trainer). Bulbasaur defeated her Nidoran F, so it got the experience points to level up to Level 7!

I had an idea. Instead of running away, I just battled the trainers in front of Route 24. And they both had Pokémon below Level 8, so I easily beat them. And then I went to Route 23 again, and found two more Spearow. But I had already caught one earlier, so instead I traded the other for my Caterpie.

I'm going to catch some more Pokémon before I get back to Cerulean City. I'm going to Route 24, where there's a bunch of trainers. So far I've caught a Zubat named "Zubat", but it was just a level 5. I also caught a Caterpie named "Caterpie".

So I battled the trainers in front of Viridian Forest. And I won! So I went to Viridian Forest. And then there's this one trainer with two Nidorina's. One of them was level 13, so my Meowth couldn't win. So I ran away, because I didn't want to lose my Meowth...

Now I'm going on to Route 7, because I need a Pikachu. Then I'll go to Route 22, and go all the way to the Pokémon Center, to heal up my Pokémon, and then I will go back to Route 23 and get Misty's Gyarados.
