I don't really like the song, but that's because I'm not particularly fond of "rock" in general.
But I don't hate on the genre. I just think some songs are horrible, and this is one of them.

i don't like rock either. but this song is just so horrible.
its like a really old song remade by a teenager who has never played an instrument before.

Well, rock is kinda an umbrella term for all different types of genres, so you might be referring to some of them.
Some examples:
Acoustic Rock - Soft, calm, soothing sound. Not too much distortion.
Alternative Rock (Alt Rock) - Different styles used. It doesn't always have the same sound. It's generally more "modern" than other genres.
Blues Rock - A rock style heavily influenced by blues.
Boogie Rock - Similar to Rock and Roll. Distorted guitars with a lot of notes.
Classic Rock - This is a genre I personally enjoy. It's the sound of rock music in the 60's-70's. It's not too distorted, which is why I like it.
Hard Rock - A bit like Classic Rock, it also has similar instruments to classic rock, but with less of a focus on vocals, and more of a focus on instrumentalists. Usually, this genre does use distortion, unlike most other genres.
Heavy Metal (Hard Rock) - A very distorted sound. I prefer this over Hard Rock because I'm a heavy metal fan.
And those are just SOME of the genres. I'm also a fan of Rockabilly and Punk/Rock.

i just hate the guitar solos and i don't get how people can listen to them. they're so annoying and just ruin the song.

The guitar solo is pretty bad. The guitar sounds so unclean.

it just sounds like some kid with a crappy amp and a cheap guitar decided he wanted to learn how to play so he started playing the same exact notes over and over again for two minutes.
