The universe is expanding at a rate of 72 km per second per megaparsec. That means in order for the universe to be created at all it had to be smaller than one megaparsec.
A megaparsec is equal to 3,260,000 light-years.

But if everything expanded, then the space inside the universe would have been bigger than 1 megaparsec. So how can anything be outside the universe?
The universe must have a surface area, and if it doesn't, then the universe isn't a surface area, therefore the universe can't be infinite. If the universe cannot be infinite, that means it must have a beginning. This means the universe must have an end. The universe is not infinite.
