I am a middle schooler. So I see these kids acting like complete fools, and their parents don't even care because they think the same way.
I have been in a situation where some kid just tried to bite me for no reason whatsoever, and he was laughing about it. He wasn't even punished. Everyone else laughed too.
Another example is where a bunch of boys were making fun of my friend for not wearing shorts and instead wearing pants, because I guess that is what all boys are supposed to wear when it's hot outside.
Yet another example is this one kid who I don't want to name (but he doesn't deserve anonymity anyway) who stole something of mine and then denied it despite there being video evidence, and his parent's response was "Well, he's 7 years old."
It makes me sick to my stomach how low this generation has fallen in terms of behavior, respect, maturity, and intelligence. I feel sorry for anyone having to grow up in this messed up world where everyone is either a spoiled brat, an idiot, or both.

Also, the girl who got bitten is actually a friend of mine (we're in the same class) so I'm not just randomly picking on someone in the school. I also know she really does have trouble with this one kid who just randomly attacks her like that and I honestly do worry about her.

Sadly, no. And no, they were not making fun of him because of his gender. They were making fun of him simply for wearing pants.

There probably aren't many left. If there are, they're either hiding in the shadows or they're too busy to notice the complete mess that this generation is turning into.
