How do I make the camera move up and down? Not left and right, I want it to go straight up and down.

I'm trying to build a place for a new series I'm making and I need to get the camera angles perfect, but every time I use the mouse, instead of moving up and down it moves left and right. I can't find any key commands in the wiki to change this behaviour.
