There's this kid in my class who doesn't speak English and can barely even read and write the language, and he always asks me for help on stuff like reading homework, but I'm not the best reader. But when I ask him to explain the situation in his own words, he just points to his paper and makes incomprehensible mumbled sounds.

So we're both in trouble with our teacher because this kid was stupid enough to copy our answers and make it look like we were helping him

The worst part is that he's actually really funny in a "haha weird kid" kind of way, so I'd probably be friends with him if we didn't have to work together on homework every damn week

The weirdest thing is that he's actually pretty athletic, but all he wants to do is play baseball, which I don't find particularly interesting

Oh and if you don't believe me about how he makes muffled sounds when he speaks, just ask him "Why do you only eat pizza?" He'll answer "Because pizza is delicious." And then he'll laugh for about five seconds.
