Here is an OT guide for those who are new. This will help you navigate through OT.
[1] Rules
1. No religion threads. This includes anything about God, Allah, Buddha, Satan, Zeus, Thor, etc.
2. No politics threads.
3. No inappropriate topics.
4. No offsite links.
5. Don't post random crap.
6. Be mature and appropriate.
7. Do not talk about your personal problems on the forums. If you want to do that then PM me.
8. Do not try to advertise your stuff here. If you want to advertise, PM me or use free models.
9. No spamming. Spamming includes: posting the same thing over and over, posting useless things, making pointless threads, etc.
10. No flame wars.
11. No trolls.
12. No copying threads.
13. Be nice to eachother.
14. Don't post threads saying "I'm the best forumer ever".
15. Respect everyone's opinion.
16. Do not post about bad events in other people's lives.
17. No asking for donations.
18. Do not make threads saying "I love (insert username here)"
[2] How to get attention
If you want to get attention from OT then post a thread about something that will cause drama. This could be a religion thread, a political thread, a thread about some controversial issue, a thread about an unpopular group, etc.
[3] OTers
Some OTers are like this:
NotInOurStars - A moderator of OT who has been here since 2007 and is very mature and respectful. He hates drama and tries to keep it down as much as possible. He will ban anyone who breaks the rules. If you have any problems PM NotInOurStars and he will help you out.
IHaveAPlan - An immature OTer who loves drama and hates peace and tranquility. He posts inappropriate topics all the time and always causes drama by trying to start flame wars and trolling. He will do anything just to get his name out there. He is hated by most people on OT and if you mention his name he might try to ruin your reputation or report you so don't do that.
