when you're sleeping your body doesn't know where it is
so when your brain says "i'm gonna move my arm" it's like telling your body to do something
and your body just does what its told, even if you're not awake and don't want it to
that's how you can accidentally move your limbs while you're asleep
and that's also why people can fall out of bed because they're asleep and their bodies think that moving down onto a comfy surface is a good idea
