why is it so bad? i mean its not the greatest company ever but imo they make good games, and the hardware isnt that bad. especially when you consider how much cheaper everything costs compared to xbox one/ps4
i guess sony's marketing department did a great job

i know thats technically true, but heres something you should take into consideration: if nintendo made exclusive games for their system like every other console manufacturer, do you think there would be nearly as many haters?

but still, theyre being unfairly judged by gamers who cant see past the fact that the wii u sucks (or doesnt suck) depending on your point of view.
they are also hated because their games dont always fit into what modern gamers want in gaming these days
this all kind of goes back to how companies like microsoft/sony/etc try to appeal to every single person under the sun while nintendo makes things for an audience with more specific tastes.

you can argue this all day long, but even if you say its technically true, there is truth behind those words too.
its easy enough to list reasons people might have to hate them or anything, but i personally feel theres nothing really wrong with them except for certain decisions theyve been making lately and some of the opinions that come off as entitled
also we can probably blame the general public for hating them since most people wont know what "gamers" think about things until they get exposed to the "opinions"

the reason why i say this is because its a little strange that it seems so much worse when its directed towards nintendo over any other company. idk maybe im just not noticing it
