I don't have any other choice but to make this a big thing.

So for all you ignorant people who are against this I'm not even going into details, just go read the article or something. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/waterloo-quebec-sex-ed-lesson-plan_560c1a65e4b01d5c2c6bdc6f?edition=us If you're still against it after reading that, then you're just stupid.

I read that article and I'm not going to comment on this thread. I'm just going to leave a link to an article that you should take the time to read: http://www.wnd.com/2015/08/schools-fine-parents-for-withdrawing-student-from-pro-homosexual-and-transgender-sex-ed/?cat_preview=id=297936

"It doesn’t matter if parents object. They must get their way," wrote Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League in response to the ruling."

The article actually proves something. I read more of the actual article as opposed to just skimming over it. This is a prime example of the fact that no one wants the government involved in education because the government has no business being involved in education. They can set curriculum, but what they cannot do is force a school district or an individual school to teach a controversial topic such as this and even if the parents do not approve of the lessons taught then the school MUST continue to teach them.

" The article actually proves something. I read more of the actual article as opposed to just skimming over it. " No it doesn't. This is what I said earlier I'm not even going into details, just go read the article or something. You didn't read the article yourself, you posted an article which is irrelevant to what the OP's article talks about.

No it doesn't. ---------- I did read it, unlike you who apparently just made some assumption on me. You didn't read the article yourself, you posted an article which is irrelevant to what the OP's article talks about. ---------- It's relevant because both articles are about parents wanting to take their children out of classes and refusing to allow the lesson to be taught to all students. It's also relevant because both articles talk about the courts ruling in favor of the school and forcing the lesson to be taught. They have similar topics and it's really not that hard to see the connections between them.

The lesson he's talking about is a lesson about sexual harassment. It's not at all related to homosexuality. They're two different topics altogether.

You need to read the OP's article again. ------------- He has to teach a controversial topic to his students, whether the parents approve or not. This is what I said earlier. Whether you believe it or not, this ruling has to do with the rights of everyone. The lesson he's talking about is a lesson about sexual harassment. It's not at all related to homosexuality. They're two different topics altogether. ------- I am aware of that. I never claimed otherwise. However, there is more to the situation than just teaching a lesson about sexual harassment. There is also the issue of the school district trying to get their way. They want to push the LGBTQ agenda down everyone's throats even if the parents don't approve of the material being taught.
