The world is not what you think it is.
It's just a bunch of atoms. We are just the product of evolution. What we know as life is just another byproduct of evolution. What we know as death is just another byproduct of evolution.
So the question is, did evolution stop there? I don't believe so. In time, another creature will evolve to take over this earth. And then another one. And another. And another. Eventually, all living things on this planet will be dead and replaced by something else.
We have been lucky that evolution stopped here. If it had continued, we might have never evolved into what we are today. So we must cherish this moment because who knows, maybe in a few billion years, we will have evolved into a different species, or maybe even a different race of aliens.

Also, no matter how much energy we burn, the universe will always have more. The universe is infinite. There will always be more stars to discover. More galaxies to explore. More planets to colonize.

And another thing to consider, what if our solar system doesn't exist on its own? What if it's actually a part of something bigger?
