How did you all come to the conclusion that there were 4 people in the plane? There were two, maybe three, but that's it.

Because if there was more than one person, then they would have been able to stop the plane from crashing.

No. It means that only one person had to be on the flight. All of the other passengers could have been somewhere else.

But how can you say that they weren't on the plane?
They didn't actually confirm that nobody else died, right? How do we know that some of those dead people were on the plane?

They said that there were no signs of passengers. Therefore, the passengers must be somewhere else. The plane could've been carrying no passengers.

It's just confusing because I thought there were multiple people on the plane. They haven't confirmed this though.
