I was playing some sort of Mario Kart on the N64. I was racing Bowser on Rainbow Road and he pulled out a super mushroom.
What do you think the dream means? Is it that I'm obsessed with the Mario franchise or something?

the dream is just a manifestation of your subconscious thoughts and ideas, and since you're dreaming about a mario kart game, the fact that it's mario kart is not important to the actual meaning of the dream
what's important are your feelings during the dream: what you were feeling when you were racing bowser, why you were feeling that way, etc
and in this case, i believe the meaning of the dream is that you are extremely afraid of failure

Hmmm, that could be true. It was pretty intense though. I was really scared that I was gonna lose. I don't know why, because I've beaten Bowser many times.

yeah but the fact that you were scared of losing to bowser is significant
i mean, if you were scared of losing to a random character, then that wouldn't mean anything
but the fact that you were scared of losing to bowser means that you're actually worried about losing to the challenge
it doesn't matter if you've beaten him before or not. if you're worried about losing to him, that shows that you have a fear of failure and aren't confident enough in yourself to do something as simple as playing mario kart without being scared

I guess you're right. I'll try to be more confident next time. I'm usually confident but I think that dream just made me doubt myself.
