I'm sure you've seen or played Left 4 dead. The sequel, Left 4 dead 2 was just released.
This is a survival guide for those who have never played before.
(1) Survive the horde of infected zombies that are trying to kill you.
(2) Avoid contact with infected people.
(3) Get health packs.
(4) Get weapons, like a gun or a melee weapon. (If you don't, you can use your fists as an alternative weapon)
(5) Stay with your team (you can play solo too)
(6) Don't be impatient and rush through the game. You will lose health, which could cost you your life
(7) Infection: If you get bitten by an infected zombie, you're infected. You will turn into a zombie yourself after a few seconds.
(8) Infected People: Some people you see in-game might be infected. They will attack you if you come close to them.
(9) Healing: There are first-aid kits all over the maps. These items will heal you, but take away a few health points.
(10) Melee weapons: If you don't have any guns, you can use melee weapons instead. These include a cricket bat, axe, frying pan and baseball bat. Use them in close combat to hit enemies and make them bleed.
(11) Health: Take away from your health points when you get hit.
(12) Defibrilator: This is one of the most important things in the game. If you or someone on your team gets shot down, use this item to revive them. However, it will also hurt you if you touch it if you're not near death. Also, it's very rare that there are defibrilators at the start of the game, so you might need to run to find one.
(13) Team mates: If someone dies, they will say "I'm dead". If no one is left in the team, the game will end and you'll die. So stay with your team members.
(14) Blood level: The blood level indicates how many infected zombies are nearby, which also means how many infected zombies will come after you
(15) When the red bar appears (after 5-10 minutes), be ready for an attack.
(16) If you see a truck or helicopter, go inside and hide. But if the helicopter gets blown up by the horde, you will have no escape.
(17) Keep moving: Always move around the map, don't stop walking and stay away from dead bodies
(18) Get rid of special infected: Special infected will always try to kill you first. They will chase after you, and their special abilities can do some serious damage. Here's what you should do:
--Charger: Don't let him get close to you, because he can take a huge chunk of your health.
--Boomer: Get out of his vomit. It can also blind you, so keep moving.
--Smoker: Hit him with a melee weapon to take away his gas bomb ability.
--Hunnerd: Hide when it's in sight. If there is no escape, run around in circles, but don't hit it or it will grab you.
--Jockey: Stay as far away as possible. It can make you bleed over and over again.
