in tf2, buy a steam card for $10 and redeem it on the valve website. when it asks you to select your region, pick north america and then look through all the gifts until you find one that looks like a weird box with some weird words on it. click purchase, wait around 5 minutes and then open your inventory in tf2. you should see a new item in your inventory called the "valve gift of friendship". open it up and then play tf2 for an hour or so until it says you have a new hat called the "friendship" hat.
you are now a true friend
