It's so they can recognize me at recess. One of the boys called me Mr. Retexture, so I asked him if he was my friend. He said "no" and gave me a weird look.
I also asked another girl if she wanted to be my friend, and she said "Sure! My name is Jenny."
I think that's nice of her.

How many girls and boys in your class?
Why didn't you ask them for their nicknames instead?

The ratio is about 50/50, or maybe 49/51. Not many people in my class are friends with eachother anyway.
And I didn't ask them for their nicknames because I thought it would be better if I told them what nickname they should use for me.
