I am 13 years old, I have a friend who is 15. I do not have a girlfriend. My friend has 2 girlfriends, but he said he was going to ask one of them out because they were "too clingy". He said it was bad to be in love with more than one person, he also says that even though we are friends he has no interest in me because I am a male, and the only people he likes are females.
I asked my friend if he would help me build a new model for roblox, he said he couldnt because it would take too much time, so then I suggested we make a place together (which means he will get credit and his name will be on the game). He said he didnt have any money or builders club and he doesnt care about getting credit and his name on a game because he does not like me as a person, and hes to busy with his girlfriends to do anything for anyone else. Then I asked him why he doesnt just break up with his girlfriends. He said that was a terrible idea, that he has to stick with them because he can never find another girl like them.
I don't understand what is wrong with liking girls, and being able to like them without having to date them. He said he wouldn't like a guy like me, so I told him I'm not like you at all. Then I tried talking to him again, and he started being rude, he said "SHUT UP! I dont like you, and I want nothing to do with you". Then I said well why did you say yes when I asked if you wanted to help me build? And he said it wasnt really your idea, and then he said I was just trying to use him, which I wasn't.
I went home, and called my mom crying. She tried talking to me but I refused to answer her, she called my dad who came upstairs and tried talking to me also, but I didnt respond, I just lay there crying in my room. The next day my mom decided to call my friends mother (who happens to be her best friend), the mom called me and asked me if everything was ok, and I lied to her saying I am perfectly fine. The next day the mom asked me why I was still crying and lying about how I felt, I told her that I can not talk about it because I am afraid of what will happen if I do. She asked me if my parents were mad at me for doing something bad, I told her they are mad at me for not telling them the truth. My mom has been trying to get my friend to stop being mean to me ever since I started having problems with him. My friend's mom has been telling her that my friend is very confused and does not know what he wants in life, and she thinks I might be the reason he is so confused. Now my parents think its my fault that my friends life is a mess, so I am an idiot.
I don't understand what I did wrong, all I wanted to do was build a game with my best friend. I only wanted to use my friend as help, but now my parents think its my fault my friend is a jerk. They keep getting into fights with each other every time I talk about him, I dont know whats going on. I just want to know why my friend is such a jerk. And my parents dont understand how I could be friends with someone like him, they also say that people like my friend are no good, but I never said anything bad about him, so how could they know?

This thread really helps me understand why people dont want to tell their parents about things they have problems with. Now I see how hard it must be for people who do not have parents who actually care about them. My parents just worry about everything, and they think they know what I should be doing, but all I really want to do is play games and hang out with my friends.

My family is making fun of me now, because of the way I look, and because of how I talk. They say Im too shy. When I am alone I act like I'm in a video game, so I am very loud and funny. But when I am with other people I am quiet and shy. My dad thinks that my shyness is what caused all my problems.

I hate my parents, they wont understand anything. They think Im an idiot for even making this thread. They said its embarrassing for them to see me on OT. They think this will ruin my future life.

I have never seen such a jerk in my entire life, he is rude, mean, selfish, arrogant, and very very stubborn. He cant take any criticism, and he cant take anyone telling him not to do something. And he is a liar also, because when I told him that I wanted to build a game with him, he said yes because he thought it would be fun, but then after we started building he changed his mind and became very mean to me, saying "SHUT UP! I dont like you, and I want nothing to do with you". Now he wont even talk to me when he sees me, he ignores me every time I talk to him, even when I try asking him what happened and why he hates me now.

Im going to go outside and sit on the porch for awhile. Maybe my friends mom will come outside so I can talk to her again about what happened, and maybe she will give me some advice about how to deal with this.
