what i mean by that is because it has such a horrible reputation that i would have thought you meant COD was an actual video game
but yeah COD is probably not one of the greatest franchises

yeah but there are a lot of bad ones in the series (i'd say maybe half of them are bad)
and even though some of those games are enjoyable and have a unique feel to them (such as the first or the second) they're not really good video games

Oh, well I suppose that is true. Although I still think they are the best FPS ever made, as the controls are very smooth. The only games I find better are Half-Life, which is my favorite FPS, Portal, and Halo.

i personally don't like any of those games except halo
half life and portal are just plain overrated to me and i've never played any of the halo games
so yeah i wouldn't call it the greatest series ever

I would disagree, Half-Life is my favorite game of all time. As for COD, the only reason it's not considered one of the best is because people hate on it. But really, it's pretty good.

COD is a good franchise.
I mean the first 3 games were great. (MW1 MW2 BO1)
After that, its been going downhill.
